Blue Tang (Dory Fish)

The fish commonly called Dory in underwater tourism is the Blue Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus). It has a bright blue body with distinctive black markings and a yellow tail. Blue Tangs are found in tropical waters around coral reefs, where they forage among the coral. This herbivorous fish primarily eats algae and helps maintain the balance of coral reef ecosystems by controlling algae growth.
